I will arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport near Colombo on 1st July. I am staying at the Ranweli Holiday Village, an ecolodge north of Colombo in Negombo, for the first four nights.
On the morning of 5th July I will move on to Wasgamuwa, a national park in the Matale district, where I will be staying and volunteering with the Sri Lankan Wildlife Conservation Society for four weeks.
From 2nd August I will then spend my time backpacking, visiting the different elephant orphanages and homes, the Buddhist temples and other sites, before flying home from Colombo on 26th August.
